Technical features | Open hydraulic disc brake system with completely integrated reservoir.

New: EBT technology for superfast and convenient bleeding. Dual piston fixed caliper made of forged, high strength magnesium with automatic pad wear adjustment in a smart One Piece Design for maximum stiffness. Pad wear thickness can be checked without removal of the pads.

Awesome looking SL rotor in diameters of 203, 180 or 160 mm (8", 7" or 6") for improved cooling. Featherlight carbon 2-finger blade with integrated reach adjust. All fitting bolts made of titanium.

Weight | From 315 g/0.67 lbs. onwards (depending on model).

Colours | Brake lever and caliper in race-white with black and red labels.

Gear Shifter compatibility | Compatible with all Shimano STI, Sram trigger and Sram and Rohloff twist grip shifters. Not compatible with Shimano Dual Control. Dual Docking. Trigger shifters can be mounted both inside and outside the brake lever.

Note | Also compatible with Ventidisc, drilled SL rotor and 90° hose fitting for caliper.

We stipulate clearly and precisely that for all our disc brakes only GENUINE MAGURA brake pads and accessories must be used!

Otherwise the 5-year leakproof warranty and all warranty claims in respect to MAGURA will become null and void! The use of brake pads from other manufacturers can lead to over-heating and the complete loss of of brake power, endangering not only yourself but also others! Pay attention when buying new pads that they are the GENUINE ones from MAGURA that can be easily checked by the type indication on the backside and the included fitting bolt!

WARNING!
Disc brake calipers can generate a lot of heat during extreme riding conditions. The resulting heat transfer from the caliper to the fork and/or frame can have a negative influence on the mechanical characteristics of both the fork and/or frame.

Insufficient heat transfer from the brake caliper to the frame and the fork, caused by fork and/or frame components having low heat transfer characteristics (e.g. carbon rear triangles!) can cause the brake caliper to overheat, with the possibility of a total failure of the brake system. This can cause serious personal injury to yourself and/or others.
